Just wondered if your gold is found with a metal detector only or do you pan gold also? Thanks.....have a great day and keep on picking up that gold.

Grats! Those Bradshaw Mountains were always good to me as well. Rich Hill to Black Canyon, Castle Hot Springs to Lynx lake. Gold everywhere (if ya know what you're looking for).

Yes you do ;D I don't sell anything either, but if I was over there following your example, I could sell the dust & small bits & hold onto the nuggets/specimens to look at. I'm not sure if I might get bored after awhile, I'm obsessive but I like the history & human touch, ie I would prefer something made of gold, a bit like this watch winder: Craftmanship is excellent... (but without people mining it, where would we be)

(Sorry not trying to hijack the post, I like this type of discussion) ie. why some people choose certain aspects of this great hobby

No metal detector will work right in the area I am concentrating on. TOO much stuff. Hot rocks and junk from the earlier miners. I use an original gold bug and it works like a charm in most places but not here.

All of the gold you see was sluiced and panned. Back breaking work....... but who cares!

Thanks for looking

Good job,

Let me tell you something . . . if I had that much gold sitting around in a desk drawer, I'd be on the next flight to Las Vegas looking for my future ex-wife! :laughing9:

Kudos on the hard work and on your finds Greg! :headbang:
