I got bored sitting in the house today and the temps where mild at 36 degrees with no wind. so i decided to do a bit of detecting in my yard.
It was one of those ordinary hunts for the first 30 mins with several clad coins of all denominations, then I got a great dime signal at 4 inches, dug my plug and I saw the rim of a silver coin, I knew ( thought ) it was a mercury or barber dime. It is a silver dime, but not an american silver dime, it says confoederatio helvetica on it, dated 1900.
This coin is almost dead upon our barber dimes.
I was hoping it was american silver, have a great day,
Allen

Hey Allen, silver is silver but I know what you mean, American silver is sweet.

I would be happier to find foreign silver. You have plenty of time to find more american silver
