After digging several pieces of trash....I had a 12-43.....12-44....13-45...come up on the monitor. I again thought it would be another can top or something like it. To my surprise it was a 1935 walking half.....of course I had to put a nick in it. Just remember....(which I didn't)...always dig like it is going to be something special.....happy trails

I know what you mean. I've had to MAKE myself quit hunting a couple times when I get tired. Why? Cuz I start getting sloppy. I would just HATE to mark that 1856 flying eagle cent that I'm gonna find one day. Just cuz I'm bushed. :)

Great coin!

HH!

Very nice piece of American history you have there. I'm sure that the damage was painful but I bet your jumping for joy that it wasn't a banner find. At least this time. Congrats.

Nice find!

I found a 1927 S Walker Friday and was seeing the same thing 12-45, 12-46. Then I saw a 01-46 which made me dig it for the possibility of a half. The tone was breaking, but too nice to ignore.

By the way, I dinged mine too (at least it was on the rim though).
