Three Boxes... Three V's! NICE! PICS

I don't do Nickels that often but last night I didn't have any halves to do. I figured I would pick up a few boxes of dimes and nickels. Two dimes boxes and three nickels boxes. Dime's produced a single Rossie. But the Nickels were a bit different. Happy camper! What are V's worth? Thanks for looking. HH!

Good score for 3 boxes of nickels. :icon_thumleft:

To answer your question, common date V's in this condition can usually be found for sale for ~$1 each.

WOW!!! Awesome box of nickels--- just like said above, the best nickel box I have seen in a long while.

I only got 1 V nickel in 50+ boxes I have searched over the years.

Congrats, you shoudl go back and get more nickel boxes, or somebody else will. :headbang:

I don't think the 69S is anything special...I've found a ton of 68S, 69S, and 70S nickels. They are regular circulation strikes because Philly didn't make nickels in those years. Philly was trying to churn out the new CuNi Clad coins to replace all the 90% coins that were hoarded.

Otherwise, I have great envy of your finds. Good work!

my shiny new Red Book says your 1905 G 2.0$, 1908 G 2.5$, 1910 VG 3$

of course i think feebay provides a more accurate pricing.

GOOD JOB!
