I don't do detecting so all I can post here are my pick-ups as I trawl the local Charity shops. These 3 picked up today:
Three similar white metal buttons. The legend is "Non Omnis Moriar" which loosely translates as "not all (of me) shall die". The picture is of a Boars head.
A bit of research has found that this is the Family motto of the Heaven Family, the most famous member of the family is mentioned in this wikipedia page on the Forest of Birse and Birse castle in Northern Scotland. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest_of_Birse
Not sure how these buttons ended up in Dorset!
I think they are pretty special - almost heavenly!
