Hey guys...never bought art at the thrift store, but this original oil or acrylic on canvass spoke to me. Can anyone I'd the artist? I've only done very quick surface searches.

I keep hoping I'm going to come to one of these treads and find my grandmother's art.
This looks to be done in the Rockies. If only it was made by the great Bierstadt who painted a lot of the west.

It is a very attractive piece. To me it looks like it's signed L Sommer. I don't think you'll find this person as a professional artist but I am no expert.

It certainly has charm, but it looks like one of those 'whipped off' pieces. Bulk art. Completed in 20-30 minutes, and on to the next. It's a signed original for sure, but to me it doesn't have that "wow, that's a nice piece of art" feel.
