Thursday/Friday Hunts

[Americus]

Yesterday I looked from 9:00 - 3:00 in several different fields in Sumter and Lee Counties in Georgia. Today I looked a field close to home for 2 hours. These are the only reasonably whole points that I found.

I am excited about getting permission to look some land that borders the Flint River about 50 miles from Americus. Although I have never looked it and don't know if it contains artifacts I am still very excited. I am going Wednesday. Wish me luck.

Americus Good Luck with your new spot. The artifacts down your way are beautiful. My girl friends dad gave me a couple from Early county. They came off their peanut farm near the Kolomoki sites. I had never seen an edgefield scraper before till he gave me a couple. He has boxes full of beautiful points. I framed what he gave me and labeled the county to keep it seperate from personal finds. Have always wanted to go and hunt those big points you guys get.
