Cru'Dad & I only had a short 2.5 hour window & we were debating back & forth where to go. We could have carried on gridding at the Saxon Site but we are in an area that has been covered at least 4 times & has very little plotted. I wanted to risk it in an unsearched area of a field that has a Roman Site. But it was over 1000 metres from the edge of the Site & when passing through that area we had no good signs.
We deployed a tactic we use to sample large areas. Loose Gridding, I do a run, Cru'Dad misses 2-3 runs. When we hit something we tighten back up, nothing happens for awhile & we go back to loose gridding. In a short period of time we covered the area I wanted to sample & as luck would have it, we chose the right runs!

Firstly you have to 'suffer' from aspergers, then you need 30,000 acres of land & not enough time to cover it. With a strong support team that involves your Dad & a networker/researcher. Otherwise known as the dream team....lol
