While detecting a few weeks ago, I stumbled across what I first thought to be an electrical box knockout. It was laying on top of the ground. I used some natural cleaner at the time (spit) and noticed a Nazi swastika. On the back side it has a 50. It looks pretty banged up since being a soft metal. Anyone have any ideas for cleaning? I would love to know what it is or at least what year. I am very curious since the spot I found it was located behind a fairly new church in Virginia. Go figure.

5O PHFENING coin (spelling is probably wrong) probably 1939 thru 1944. I found a bunch of them back in the 70' while I was stationed in K-TOWN and karlshrue , GERMANY with my trusty HEATHKIT DETECTOR that I built from a kit.Good memories.... ;D ;D ;D
