Did a little water hunting in the Brainerd lakes area last weekend. I'm usually a pretty picky digger and I avoid most iffy targets on land, but in the water I like to dig just about everything. I found this titanium ring under 24" of water and 2" of gravely sand. I'd prefered gold or silver but a ring is a ring.

Thanks for looking

It was freezing. I had chest waders but my hands were so stiff that I had to call it quits after 45mins.

Hi RedAmos. Congrats on that ring :award_star_silver_2 Does it have very low conductivity? I found a ring a year or two ago some jeweler thought was probably titanium no markings tho and it read quite low on my detector conductivity wise. Found a picture of mine here it is 8-)

Not sure what the current value of titanium is now but for many years I was in the Aerospace industry and Titanium was widely used for many of the parts we manufactured. It is very light and very strong material. Cool find!
