We lost our Queen.

Have a little respect for the members that cared.
Just because you don't, doesn't mean to dish her on every opportunity.

Whether you're a monarchist or not, she was one remarkable lady. Anyone who imagines that our Queen did nothing more than sit on a golden throne with a crown on her head while everyone ran around catering to her every need, paid for by the public purse, knows little about how hard-working she actually was (and most of our monarchy too, with some notable exceptions). Not least the support she gave to numerous charities.

The Queen was a positive, unifying force her entire reign. She protected the country ( through counsel ) and preserved the Crown. Mission accomplished. Job well done.

I agree that she was a remarkable individual, but her death doesn't mean one has to wallow in moroseness because she died. It doesn't have anything to do with ignorance. She was, after all, 96 years old.
