Hello,
today I will begin the so long postponed writing down the history
of my family . This means as far back as my Great-grand fathers
ancesters from Europe in the last 19 th centuries and their arrival
as inmigrants in America.
I think this will be apreciated by our children some years from now.
Otherwise all these inherited memories will be forever lost. :icon_study:
I'm 60 years old now and I think it is worth the effort. There will be
pics and other relics too. That in time they will inherit as well.
But I will take it easy. One step at a time ;D

Mike, that is the best thing I have heard today.
I am kind of a history person too and have a photo album and letters of my family
back to my Great Grandmother who (I think) was born on the "Trail of Tears" Cherokee march.

My folks retired and became "snowbirds" in the 1980s and met some folks with same last name.
These folks had history done going back to 870.
I have copies of the book. Hope to tie-in my family with that line.

Your family history may not be appreciated by your offspring for many years but when they do it is great.
I feel I became immortal when I begat sons.

Grandfathers blessings to you.
