Better than TEN SKUNKS. If you don't want them, I'll buy them for what you paid, which is FV.

I undestand the fustration. I just do about 2 boxes of halves per month and it is a pain to dump. I do not know how you can dump 10 boxes.

Ten half boxes produced this. Completely not worth the energy

Depends on what those coins are in the picture. If it's a draped bust half then yes it is worth it. What did you get?

I'm guessing 6-40%'s and 2-90% or maybe 7-40% and 1-90%?

That is a lot of work for less than one per box. I'm on a 7-box skunk steak right now.

Slow and steady gets a stack.

99% of the time it isn't "worth the energy" for any of us. What makes it worthwhile is the thrill of the hunt and an occasional decent score to cover some of our expenses. IMO, beats golf, skiing, or other hobbies that cost a lot of money.

99%of people who CRH do not get rich. If we would have worked the hours we spend CRH at McDonalds we could have made a lot more money. But we all do it for the fun of the hunt.

No I agree. For a batch of 10-15 boxes I like to get at least 1 roll to feel like its worth it. Doesn't matter if it's 40s or 90s. When I'm able to add at least one full roll to the pile feel like I accomplished my goal of adding decent silver. I hunt for the fun but I also hunt for an investment. I'm a general contractor so I look at my silver stash as sort of a retirement investment. Every little bit helps in the long run

Today's 10

When I started CRH in 2011, I averaged over 3 silvers per box; I take the term 'silver' to mean one 40%, with 90% being converted to 40% at a ratio of 3:1. The average has steadily gone down since then, to just under 2 per box so far this year. Your 1.2 per box average - FOR THIS SESSION - is indeed low, but you take the good with the bad. I feel your frustration, but you know that you'll get a great box eventually that will bring up both your averages and your spirits.

Hang in there!

I did not insulted ugotit22. I was just saying that the dumping is a pain in the neck. It is for me with one box so I can not even imagine with 10 or 15 boxes. My user name here was created by ugotit22.
