Today's 2 boxes 3/7/12
I was in the mood for a little variety today so hit 4 banks near my buy bank and picked up $120 in nickels and $180 in dimes (and $3.50 in halves - all clad) to go along with my 2 boxes of halves. I think from now on when that "variety" mood hits me, I will buy nothing but quarters, as my results can't be much worse. I haven't seen a silver dime (other than from under my detector) since February of last year. Nickels just don't do it for me...after ~$80 worth I was thinking, "Never again." Of course I would likely think differently if an occasional buffalo or "V" would show up. I think from now on its "sink or swim" with quarters. Dimes, for whatever reason, just do not produce at all here. I don't really enjoy searching nickels or cents. A few occasionally is fine, but I could never be a massive nickel or cent searcher...unless I had a Ryedale for the cents. Yep...next time, quarters!
On a good note, both my half boxes had the "good" source code again this week. Hope that continues.
Nickels: skunk

Half box 1: 7 40%, 1 90% (Ken)
Half box 2: 8 40%
Road trip (to a totally new area) in the works for Friday, weather permitting. Next week at the latest.
