Pretty good boxes. :icon_thumleft:

No silver in those Pesos. As of right now, there are 13.435 pesos to the dollar, so they're worth ~7.44 cents each should you ever find yourself south of the border to spend them.

Keep your head on your shoulders if you do decide to go South of the Border or else you may have problems keeping your head on your shoulders. Pure evil brewing in certain spots down in Mexico!

And sorry you lost money on your Mexican coin. :-\

Due to hyper-inflation in the 1980's, Mexican money made before 1993 was devalued by moving the decimal three places over. So, if you have $10 peso coins from the 1970s, they are worth $.01 MXN now, and 1 centavo doesn't get you very far. The old pesos are virtually worthless from a monetary stand point.

If they are in a half dollar rolls, they are probably diez pesos.. Diez = Ten in spanish.. So multiple your answer by 10 = $.74
