Today's Boxes of Halves: 12/23/11

This brings me to a 6 box skunk streak so far. In the past year, I had both a 17 box skunk streak, immediately followed by a 33 box skunk streak, not mentioning all the other skunk boxes I opened.

Hoping to start ordering from another bank that has Loomis boxes. The manager of that bank was a bit reluctant to order halves for me because someone in the past year ordered several gold dollar boxes, and never came to pick them up. They still have most of those gold dollars in the vault.

Just once in my life I would like to open a monster box like Cards or db gets.

Ouch, sorry for your luck. Still wondering why silver distributes so oddly in Indiana. I've hunted Northern, and Central Indiana and found plenty of silver in boxes. I've had a few skunk streaks (worst being 12 boxes but it was the same bank) Personally I think it has to do with the timing that Brinks sorts the coins. For whatever reason, with dimes that are stamped the day before I look through them, I almost never find anything but if the time stamp is several days or weeks off I usually have good luck.
