tsgman, Once I found the bayonet it was getting dark. I did find half of a horseshoe shown in the second pic about 10 feet from the bayonet. I'll be going back this coming weekend if the weather is nice.

That object on the far right of the second picture looks like a wood carving knife. Are those flat iron pieces a part of an axe blade? Monty
