Today's Contest -- first Barber coin of 2007 wins

Someone somewhere should be able to find a Barber today...note the time of your find and post the time and timezone tonight and first one wins (so, you don't win anything, but still, you win). I am awaiting the rain to end here, but supposed to be around 50 degrees in NY.

For that matter why don't we do first merc, seated, silver, etc. I think that'd be pretty cool, but we should dock 'em half their points if there's no picture!!

Neat little contest. I hunted all of 2006 for my first Barber and have yet to find just ONE. Maybe 2007 will be the year!! Happy NEW Year to all.

has been raining lightly in nw ohio all morning,rained hard all night...will be very wet but ill be out when the weather lets up....gonna hit fairgrounds not likly to see any barbers but mercs are sure possible,,,hh

I'm trying! Three Wheaties (1920,1928,1941), one nice green patina flat button on New Years Day and two Indain Head cents (1899,1900) last night.
