"Todays Diggs"

I started out at a new school I haven't hunted yet. My buddy Ima had to stay home and spray mold on the back of his house. I don't know why he had to spray mold on the back of his house, but thats what he said.
The weather is very warm and high humidity and the ground is wet from recent rains here. It was threatening to rain all mornin'.
I don't think anyone hase detected here before since the school is only a couple of years old, good for me.
At the swings I dug 15 quarters in a row with one Chineese coin mixed in. Then came dimes and nickles, super. The second play area only offered up some lincolns and a couple of nickles, some junk jewelry parts and pieces and a pipe nipple. No fired bullets in this area, suprise! Not much trash here yet. The first pic is the swings and the second is the other area.
I was very warm and sweaty but stopped at a couple of other spots on the way home. Just a few coins.
The last pic is of some quarters i cleaned today with my new tumbler and the recipe I got from Ant on this forum. Tumble with white aquarium gravel, pool filter sand, amonia and water. Only one hour and they are real nicely cleaned. The one quarter at the bottom is the before tumble...Thanks Ant, it works great.

Hope you all have great huntin' this weekend....

Way to go Rudy, that's a lot of quarters. ;D Nice pic's too. Don't you hate finding parts of zippers? If I don't find two or three a day it's only because I didn't get out. I think I find more of them than pull tabs. Stay cool.

Thanks all. Zippers are everywhere here. I only keep a few for pics. Truly more than pop-tops but not as many as bubble gum foil....

Keep safe and keep diggin....

Ah come on, it's hard to beat a day with Jomaxx and bleach. ;)
Looks like you found a good spot. I love the cleaning job on the coins.

I'll try to make it next time.

Hi Rudy
Great finds. I've been out this weekend practicing with my brand new, very first MD, dreaming of being able to post a find as good as yours
and........

"I don't know why he had to spray mold on the back of his house, but thats what he said."

Great sense of humor ;D

Cheers, Mike
