Todays find with only $40 bucks!

I am killing in washington state! I go out once a week with $20 and always find silver , but today i did $40 and got two Brilliant , I believe uncirculated or what not kennedys. One is a 1973 S in great condition . The other is a 1971 S in even better! Are these worth anything , as I know theres no silver in them. Also got a 90% '64 and a 40% '66 . Good day today.

proofs(s mint mark) have little to no premium, save the silver though.

I take those nice proofs out of circulation, put em in a 5 cent mylar holder to stop any more damage, sell em in my yard sales. Somebody out there likes em. Double your money, at the very least.

Good plan...I have lots of proofs...not sure what to do with them. I like your yard sale idea...probably double my investment for sure. Plus then you don't have to screw around with fees and shipping from the 'bay.

I absolutely love proofs. I don't care even if they're clad. I've only been able to find 2 in the wild.

I love finding proofs too... I have found about 100 or so in the wild. If I see a proof ender, its always a sign of a good box (weird, but true-for some reason, proofs & silver go hand in hand in my boxes). I put the best ones In my Dansco album but still keep the duplicates unless they are really ugly. I have found all the proofs from 71s-07s except for the 84s (and Ty 2 79s & 81s). I have only 1 90% silver proof - boy does that silver edge stand out!

It's interesting how my friend has a few proofs only, and one of them is a 1984-S (I think).
