Went to my 1900 permission in the city today. The house was built sometime between 1898 and 1900. Even a small yard can take time when loaded with iron. The house burned at one time and much of the burned portion must have been laid in the yard during re-construction. Tons of nails. My workhorse today was the ORX with the 9.5 elliptical coil.

Last trip to this permission produced a silver Indian chief head ring and a 1950's newspaper photo plate. This trip produced a sterling silver Coro ring and my first ever war time coin, a 1945 P Nickel. Also found a Charms play coin and a one cent piece from the Bahamas. It's funny, when I first went to this permission last year, I had hopes of finding earlier coinage (early 1900's). But this permission has dashed those hopes in favor of some crazy interesting pieces.

All in all, a good day.

WorthPoint has similar rings stating they are 1970's "Mood" rings. I'll have to see if it still works.
