Today's finds. 4 hours

I got out early this morning and hit a site I've been hunting recently. My Lightfoot map shows a Mill that was there in 1857. There's a school there now. This is the place I found a KG copper at around a month ago.
I moved closer to where this Mill was and started getting some deep signals with the musketeer. As I'm digging I'm hitting layers of clamshells. Tons of them. The most I've ever run across in one area. I'm not sure if it was the dump of a old homesite or the mill itself. The spoon is not plated. Solid silver. Not much on old coins except for the 40's and 50's wheaties. I'll be going back. Maybe tomorrow.
HH, Mike in NJ

Nice finds . 92 items on the table in 4 hrs :icon_scratch:. locate, dig, probe to find, pocket it, and refill hole 92 times. How do you work so fast. I could do it in sand, but no way in dirt. I went out for 4 hrs today and I only dug 18 items up (5 coins the rest junk). You the man. I hope to get up to that speed.

92 items plus all the garbage I dug. For the most part minimal probing. I just cut a hinged plug, flip it over, retrieve, flip it back, stamp it down, stand up and start scanning. Plus it was nice plug cutting soil.
Good Luck, Mike in NJ
