My finds from a short hunt today in the rain. The yard I was hunting hasn't been cut in a couple weeks so used the WS6 Master and Relic mode since I can swing a bit higher and still hit targets.

Only spent about two hours and had some decent finds. This yard hasn't yielded many older items, but it's almost three acres and I've got a lot to swing over yet. If I had known the rain was never going to get heavier, I'd have stayed longer.

Pocket knife: Not sure on age here. Quarter is for size reference.

Neat little button with thread. Love finding buttons.

Matchbox radar truck, without the dish. I had a couple of these when I was a kid.

Iron thingy: this one gave me banging 72 signal.

Twelve pennies and a dime. The most coins I've ever found in a single hunt at this location.

If anyone can help determine the age on that pocketknife, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for looking.

I have no Idea on the age of the pocket knife but that rusted iron has me curious. I found one as well on an old farm exactly like that and I haven't thrown it out to this day. Until someone ID's yours I am not pitching mine anytime soon. :)

Nice hunt, the knife looks to be from the 1960's
The metal thingy probably has a sq. hole in the middle.
It's a metal retainer that holds ? off a farm tilling equipment piece. (forget at the moment)

I think PJ has it. I've seen those too. They are bolted on through the hole in the middle and one end goes through the soil. When that end wears out, it is rotated 180 degrees and the other end goes to work. If I remember correctly, it is the replaceable end of a spring tooth harrow tooth. I had one years ago.
