Metal Detecting
I figured to day was a good day so Id get out and do a little detecting. The first place was a park off the beaten path and I pulled a silver ring and a wheat penny.

The next place was a yard in my neighborhood. Did much better there. Got my 7th silver coin for the year so far and a first. A no date Standing Liberty Quarter! She may not be attractive and I knicked her but its still a SLQ and my first. Also pulled a rosie and a merc.

The button is one I have no idea about. It says American Button Co Newar NJ on the back. I fould the company was from 1901 to 1920. I dont know about the design though. Any button experts out there know anything about this one?
