Went back to a spot today that I hunted a week ago. Found a clock key and a harmonica reed last week. Went to the same spot and 2 feet away I dug this Eagle button with the shank. This is my first shanked button(i've found undewear buttons) .The piece in the pics next to the eagle is what appears to me to be a suspender clip or something like that. It says SHB&Co. on it in an oval with lines behind it. Any ideas? Still haven't dug a Mini- ball and it's killin' me. I've eyeballed 'em but the dug one has eluded me.I kept looking knowing I'd find one.
Thanks for looking, and keep swingin' and pingin'.

It feels great to dig those doesn't it?

I have a few but being mostly in Michigan means instead of eagles it's the occasional Indian penny :-\

Nice button!

Best part is I got 'em with my Nautilus, i'm starting to get the hang of it. Had balance probs first thing and after reading your other posts ,I was expecting the worst. Walked back to the truck(Long walk) and fooled around with it and it started working OK, so I just went with it and had no more problems. It was about 70 degrees today here.
