Turned out to be a nice day (warmer but cool enough not too sweat much). I think the 1st one is a Clay; which is only the 2nd one I've found in SE Alabama (2 3/8 by 2). The 2nd is probably a large Bolen (3 by 1 1/8). #3 is a small point #4 I thought was broke but turned out to be extremely worn down and the last is a small Bolen with tip damage. My neck, legs and back are feeling the burn but I'm OK with that.

Was able to look a little today before the massive rain storm came in. I'm going to try to go again tomorrow if the weather allows it. I found these today, all range from 1.25 to 1.75 inches.

I wish I could find a complete Dalton
Raking them in, pretty stuff I don’t know my southern types that well but is the last one in the first group related to dalton? View attachment 2138851
wish I could find a complete Dalton 🙂. I think that one is a Bolen; maybe a Cowhorn type with worn down base ears. I have found 2 of the Cowhorn types in the same area in the past where the base ears extend further than this one.

Those are also good points. I’m guessing the material is Coastal Plains Chert? I just don’t find that material that I know of.

It's coastal plains chert, it seems like the more colorful kind is in S. GA. I do find some colorful ones (not here lately) but more so there.
