My girlfriend and I went to two beaches at the local lake today, for a total of about 5.5 hours. When we started we weren't even hitting pultabs, and figured that was a bad sign that it was cleaned out since last season. She stayed on the land with her ACE 250, and I headed for the water to try out the new 10.5" coil on the Tiger Shark. I was impressed with the new coil, it was easy to swing and just as easy to pin point with as the standard 8" coil. Don't ever let anyone tell you the bigger coils won't find small stuff, in the photo of my finds, next to the junk ring is a little pendant in the shape of the Greek letter delta, it is only 3/16 across !! Oh, I found my first Canadian quarter ( 1968 ) it was stuck to the magnet in my scoop.... Ferrous coins ????

Got to spend a sunny day at the beach with your best girl. Any treasure is a bonus amigo ;D. Look at it as clearing out the small stuff so you can zero in on the big ticket items :D. Loot awaits keep swinging

I believe all Canadian coins are magnetic.
