Todays wintery finds & some woods pics

It snowed out today and I got bored so I went detecting at a chimney that is out in the woods. No old finds but I found a modern day coin spill. 6 dimes, 1 nickel, 2 pennys and a fruit jar lid seal. Here are the finds and some pics of the area.

Heres some closeups of the chimney and the "woods car". I took a picture of a coin in the hole as I thought for sure it was old. It turned out to be part of the modern day coin spill. The chimney has a flue so it must have been used into the early 1900's if I had to guess.

If you can get in the car, look under the seats, on the floor; you may not need your detector to find some treasure!

I love snow. I love a chimney. Say, do you have fire ban there? I didn't notice a fire in that place. At least you a got a few finds on such a tuff detecting day.

That's what I was thinking! Cool looking site.I'd go back for sure,any signs of an old dump or privy? I sure miss the snow......................sometimes.
