Lipscomb's OH Book attributes this one to St. Marys, OH but does not give any historical background. I see in the 1930 Census that Leonard Mallory was proprietor of a pool room in that town, so I suppose he is the one who had Mallory's Place. He lived ~1907 - 1964 but the records I can access do not show any more information about him.

thanks I was thinking it was from the 30's. I dug this about 20 miles from St Marys
