I went back to a spot that I've had some luck before but the grass was super long then so I had to wait. When I got back there now it looked like a different place all together and great even with the grass only half down. Next trip to it will be in early spring. I instantly went were I couldn't go before and the hits just started coming. I got two Nova Scotia half penny tokens dated 1830 and 1832. Two Canadian large cents dated 1876 and 1901. A lonely silver dime dated 1951 and a great shape serenity prayer charm. I also got a complete shoe buckle and nice bell. Also a musket ball, jack knife, pocket watch rim and some other buckles. I dug some other odds and ends but not worth posting. Eyeball find was what I think is a pearl button. I can't wait to get back in the spring and hopefully get some old silver somewhere there. Thanks for looking! [emoji3]

Forgot to mention a buddy that came with me got a mini pocket spill there with two Canadian large cents 1895 & 1904. He also got a 1871 p.e.i large cent nearby crawling under a low tree branch.

Thanks. I found lots of tokens and coins like them so I didn't bother doing much of a cleaning on them for the photo but I'm always glad to find them. I'm not positive on the button being pearl but I did the trick for pearl necklaces to tell real or fake on it and it sure seems like real pearl.

Thanks. I haven't been getting out near enough lately. Busy season at work and bad winter weather seems to be just around the corner! [emoji27]

I just realized that the round thing in picture seven looks like a candle stick holder finger ring.

Better get the digging in while we still can, time isn't getting longer!

Nice job on the finds, great to see the old coppers!
PS the glass button you found show up from time to time, I pick them up too, I must have a couple dozen of them now

I forgot to add the big decorative flower copper case lid I found also. I tried to find the bottom but had no luck...
