30 years of fun. 2 years ago my heart surgery he found another partner but thats OK. My new problem that my leg and foot hurts so bad i cant walk far. He was doing a metal scrap job and i stopped by. His new partner saw me and said ohh its worthless . Well i left saying nothing and got non-stop calls. Sad but i told him to stop calling and go away.

Sorry to hear that. His parter said it not him, but you were there not me. One thing I learned in life getting sober is just because I’ve been friends for 25 years doesn’t mean I HAVE to be friends forever. I know that hurt your feelings, on top of everything you’re already going through and not being able to do the things we used to do, as a man remarks (jokes) like that hit the heart. Stay positive and just thank the good Lord you’re still with us.

Some people are [emoji90] and I think one is his new parter not necessarily your friend. Just give it some thought.

I got a few friends like that. Very few. And getting fewer by the funeral. I wouldn't want to lose any "thirty-year-friend" that are still on this side of the lawn over anything less than a capital offense.

A few years ago I lost my good friend and detecting buddy to brain cancer. We spent a lot of time together over the years and both made some great finds although he always came up with the best finds. I always told him he was the lucky one but I guess looking back now it was I who was the lucky one.
We will never have the chance to hunt together again but at least in your case there is still a chance that can happen. Just tell him that you really enjoyed the time you have spent together over the years and would like the chance to do it again sometime. If it is meant to be then it will happen. I wish you the best.
