toms.jpgMy neighbor and I were talking and I told him I needed to find some kind of display for some bottles, relics and things. He told me there was all kinds of stuff his dad left him and he thinks there were some old cabinets . I went to look and I spied a general store type display/sale cabinet for Tom's snacks.
I looked it over and saw a price of ten cents labeled on the insides. I would say the cabinet has not been used in 50 years or so. Long story short I picked it up for 50 bucks and it is in nice shape.
Pretty stoked to have another much needed display case. :coffee2:

That thing is awesome! I with I had something like that for my retro soda bottle collection, right now they are displayed in a curio cabinet, along with all of my display cases and other interesting finds. My antique 1890's-1900 bottles are on display in a big shelf with glass windows, along with other items, such as family photos, and various other items, though my bottle have been invading it lol.

Coinman123,

Good idea, I like it for the bottles especially. I'd like some cases like that.

Very cool & you stole it. I buy vintage store & gas station cabinets for my stuff as well. You often pay less than you would pay for some particle board piece of crap in one of the big box stores and you have something much more cool.

That looks great, Bird! 8-)
So I haven't kept up, but assume you're back in the states? A friend of ours may be planning a hunt in Pensacola this winter. Just thought I'd throw that out there in case you may want to attend. :)
Nana :hello:

ps...there's a man peeping through your window. :tongue3:

Yea Nana, back in the states for good . Pcola has some old history , might have to try a meet up. :occasion14:

That works as a beautiful display cabinet. Good find and a great price.
