Tonights finds...

Husband and I spent a few hours at the creek tonight, these are my finds. Pretty sure two are artifacts, not sure about two others. If you know what they are, let me know

#1-Looks like it broke in half. Didn't see the other side. It's about 2"x2", 1/2" thick. My fav of the group.



#2-knife of some type? Fits nicely in my hand. About 3 1/4" long, 1 1/4" wide.



#3-Scraper? 3 1/2" long, 2" wide, 2" at thickest part (middle)



#4-Artifact? Eroded rock? About 5" diameter. Flat bottom, grooves on top.

Some nice finds you have gotten. I wish my creek would give up some like that. Thats a big scraper.

#1,2,3, they appear to be worked artifacts, chopper/scrapers? congrats...
Now, #4, I'm guessing geofact?? A very interesting one for sure, I can say I have never found anything like that around here.

Very nice. What part of the country are you from? Just wondering about the material which really looks good.

I'm in extreme north Middle Tennessee. I think it's chert. The vein that runs through there is a white color though.

real nice finds Heather. I have found stone that looked like that on Lookout Mnt.
