Picked up my 2 weekly boxes today and found a lone 40%er, but it was a 1969-S which was the last 40% Kennedy I need to complete my collection. Had already found 1 '68-S and multiples of '70-S, '70-D, '76-S (AG) BU and '76-S (AG) PF. For what it's worth I also have every clad proof from 1971-2017 along with several modern 90%ers. I've been wanting to complete the 40% collection for a while and am thrilled to finally catch the elusive last coin. When I found I couldn't remember if I needed the '68 or '69 so it was cool to go back and check and realize I've completed the collection.

Now if I could just find that dang '43-D nickel I'd be complete on the Jefferson nickels as well.

Thanks,

That’s awesome! Congratulations! I was working on a CRH Kennedy set and CRH Jefferson set too. I really curtailed my hunting though, so I’ll probably never complete them.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

I’m with you on that dang nickel. How was the 50D easier to find than the 43D?

Literally there are three more 40%ers, 65sms, 66sms, and 67sms, which can be found in the wild.
