I have never heard of "organize" being used when talking about a tool box.
Just pile them in, if the lid won't close just move things around. ;)

Easier to just shake back and forth................

Well, at the beginning of the thread she was listed as an "elderly widow." Being an old fart - I have met a lot of "elderly widows" who are living day to day. My first thought was she was cleaning out the house and simply didn't know what she had. So, when JimDon said he "scored" - my first thought was maybe dropping off a few bucks - it might make the difference between a meal or no meal for that day. So, YES - my first post was very serious. Remember - my first response was BEFORE JimDon's followup comment: "She is very well off. Very very well off."

Well, there's things besides money. Smiles, little acts of kindness - even a sincere "thank you". :hello:

A nice basket of fruit would be neighborly. Who knows, you may run across her down in Florida one day when your combing the beaches?

Yes, that's called "organizing" them, lol. :laughing7:

Sometimes, I move some from box to box and "re-organize".
Right now, I have a mess-o-tools in an old milk crate, they need to be
"organized", in to boxes. lol.

I can actually find any tool I own, blindfolded, and by feel.
Don't know yet, if that's a gift or curse. :icon_scratch: :tongue3:

She is very well off. Very very well off. The house is $600k. Nice thought but... No
OOK, cash is a no howz about a nice bouquet of flowers or some nice chocolates? And if you have them delivered how's she going to say no? Would keep your name up top of the "I wonder if he'd like those list"!

The only thing I love more than detectors is TOOLS! As a 30+ year mechanic I have just about every tool needed to repair automobiles, and easily have 30K + invested in them. There is nothing better than having the right tool for the job.
