So I have been thinking on how I want to upgrade my set up for spring. Right now I use a minelab xterra 305, stock coil, compadre as a backup and a bounty hunter pinpointer. I am looking to upgrade to either an etrac or at pro with pro pointer. Id prefer an etrac, considering I have gotten this minelab down pretty well. But then I wondered if just switching to a larger more powerful nel coil would net me more depth I seek. All suggestions welcome

There is quite a price difference in the ETRAC and AT Pro (and a coil upgrade for that matter). If you have the money, definitely go for the ETRAC!

I'm shooting to have an ETRAC myself by July!

I upgraded my terra 705 with a 10.5"DD coil and am getting a 9" concentric 3.0khz soon
I'm also upgrading my Teknetics Omega
(With elliptical 10"x5" concentric and DD) with a 12.5"x8.5" DD coil

Etrac not in my near future a new detector a year or more off

It seems like every time I put a different coil on I get more stuff that I missed
