I've been hitting a nearby towns open space. It's an old farm that belonged to a friend of Katherine Hepburn. Metal detecting is not allowed but I detect the open fields across the street from the house and the township guys just wave to me. I had a good couple of days last week.
Nice coin weight but nothing on the obverse.
Found silver.
Nice gilt flower button and a plain one
A MOM button from 1800s? I live in Monmouth County so I think it's MCM or MCH actually
Design caught my eye on this for a sec but it's been Id'd as half a 'Yankee' padlock
Here's a non dug one
Also found a plain dandy and a nicely bent fork.
Also a 1960s Sunoco token.
A decrepit ladies brooch.
