Awesome! Have only seen one,long ago. It jumped on my foot and by the time i landed was back in its hole.:smileinbox:

Thanks!!!It is simply an amazing feat of nature how they make these.....blows my mind!!!!It is funny Calisdad,my eye just goes to them now?Sure I walk by many more.

I've never spotted on. I do see the webs that appear to make a hole but when they are covered with dew that's easy. The trap door spider must sense vibrations that are so small we couldn't measure them with our most sensitive equipment.
