As some professional treasure hunters have said in the past, "treasure is everywhere"! I think now I really believe it. I just read online that a Whiskey Company was wanting to recover two cases of scotch whiskey left behind by the Shakleton expedition in Antarctica in 1909. The company no longer makes that brand of whiskey and wants to recover at least a few bottles to see how it tastes 100 years later and maybe start making it again. A hundred year old bottle of scotch that's no longer made must be worth a small fortune to a collector. Well, if there's treasure in Antarctica, then there is truly treasure everywhere on earth! For new treasure hunters out there, this should be an incentive to research treasure where you live without traveling great distances, because "treasure is truly EVERYWHERE"!!!

If properly sealed, it shouldn't taste any different than the day it was bottled. The aging of liquor refers to how long it was stored before bottling. Now if it was a barrel of whiskey...
