cool ! welcome to TreasureNet !

hopefully someone here knows.

Perhaps if you list the Country it is in, it would help.

I'm also wondering if it could be upside Down

vlg3w.jpg

or even meant to sit on the flat side

vlg3w.jpg

looks ancient though

If you don't know what it is how do you know it is a "treasure sign"?

darn, I was going to make a childish joke, mostly because I got no idea what it is. My guess, ancient road sign, miles or direction, something like that. Sure does look like plumbers butt though.

Point taken. However, you are going to have remove at least a third or more of the post on this website, where others have posted humorous remarks in a post, also. If one can't have a little humor and fun in some of these post then you guy's are wound up way to tight.

gldnbrew-- I'm sure Jeff of PA is concerned that people have posted 'what's-its' as a mockery to those who put forth the honest effort to do serious research and offer genuine assistance. We have had posts in the past where someone posted coins which they already had info for, just as a prank. He's not saying we can't have humor on the site or be light-hearted in a friendly manner, as long as the question is properly addressed.

As for the object posted and inquired about here: More info is needed. Plainly the rune symbol is of a different language type than most are familiar with here.

Also keep in mind that some youngsters also visit this site-- we need to keep it clean... :censored:

And what was DIRTY about my Comment ??? There was nothing, in my interpretation of the the sign, that is even close to being X rated and needed censoring, from young eyes. It was in, I thought, good taste and given in a light-hearted friendly manner. My local plumber has the whole side of his van painted with a picture of a plumber fixing a sink and bearing the infamous trademark. Heh! who knows it may of been his driveway marker. Life is way to short not to have some clean humor and fun, when the opportunity strikes. This would become a very boring site, without any humor in it. If I have offended anyone, get over it. No P.C. here, I am an equal opportunity offender.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and GOD BLESS :icon_santa:

No your comment was not dirty, But Tao-Klaceti came here from Turkey
asking for help & turning his thread into a laughing stock is not cool either.

it is obvious by looking it is not recent graffiti , it would be nice if someone would
at least try & guide him don't ya think ?

I know how you's are too, If I leave one, someone else will decide to outdo the remark, (it already started before I started removing posts)
next thing we have 10 people acting like children posing pics of women & Plumbers here :(

Gldnbrew-- my comment wasn't directed at you specifically-- just pointing out some general guidelines. Nobody is attacking you here!

OK, lets get this on track, although I like a joke as much as the next man....

I have no knowledge of the site or the 'letter' like symbol. Does the poster know what lanuage & letter it might be?

In itself I don't think its a Treasure sign, just a piece from a very old structure, most likely with other letters to its side.

Jeff is right, people who don't know should shut up, not redicule a new member :BangHead: The symbol looks like a ancient form of writing to it's origin,
a bit like the runic symbols found on standing stones. it's just a case of finding the right language.
