I like the first alert filter. I prefer a filter to a sterilizer. I drank colorado water out of those streams for fifty years. I began to see people and dogs everywhere I went so I started using a filter. One of my partners still drinks straight out of the streams. One bad expierence though could shut down a nice camping trip so i filter. Love that first alert. ?Got it REI

That is a test kit.

I don't believe they make filters (I could be wrong, tho).

I think they make all kinds of test kits - water, carbon monoxide, etc.
