Treble Rich Standard Dog's Head Button - Can Anyone Identify?

Hello All,

I dug this button and musket ball in the woods near my house today. They were found about three feet from each other. The button has a dog's? head and is marked Treble Rich Standard. I did a google search for "treble rich standard button" and it seems the only buttons that came up in the search were Confederate Civil War buttons. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen this one before. Thanks.

Good find!? It's a mid 1800's sporting button.? They often featured heads of dogs, horses, and various game animals: boars, stags, etc.? "Treble Rich Standard" refers to the button's gilt finish.? Here's a sampling of other varieties from eBay:

Thanks so much PBK for identifying the button. I really appreciate it. Thanks again.
