Trial Rawleigh's?

I here I have this bottle, which I rescued from a box headed to Goodwill with a ton of other stuff from a friend's attic. It's very, very thick glass. I haven't measured the liquid it will hold but i assume it's not a lot since the bottle is so thick that when I hold it up to a light, I can barely see through it.
The unique part is at the top, it has a line and text that reads, "TRIAL LINE."
I'm curious - could this be a bottle that was used prior to the release of a specific formula for the brand, maybe? I've looked high and low for one like it and I've yet to find one.

I know next to nothing about bottles too, but I don't think that bottle was a trial run. If I remember correctly, the customer could use the product down to that trial line, and if they weren't happy with it, the company would buy it back. Nice bottle- Good luck!

Thank you! That never crossed my mind about the trial line, I guess because it's such a big bottle and these days, when you get a trial sized item, it's so darned small you can barely see it!
Thanks for the tip!!

Unfortunately, it's a common bottle. Value is $5 or less, although I did find a couple that sold for $8.49.
