Just got the VOl.12 edition of WOMP (scaled down online version of the E&MJ (Engineering and Mining Journal) and the editorial talks about 2 new rules out by the EPA. The first one sets a new policy of no more "sue and settle" lawsuits will be allowed and the EPA doesn't have to pay the legal fees of these NGO/special Interest Groups either. Check it out the whole piece here and register for your free edition of E&MJ. American Miners Start to See Federal Relief

As you all know the media is bashing the President 24/7, meanwhile he's stedily working on keeping his promises of which this is one of them. What a long needed relief for us small miners at last!

The "end of sue and settle" is just a feel good internal policy. In point of fact "sue and settle" was ended in 2009 by the federal courts in Minard Run. It's been 8 years since "sue and settle" was a problem.

It's nice they finally made their policy conform to the law but it didn't change anything.
