So I have this object and I am not sure what it is. It looks like some sort of ashtray to me. There are also human figures carved all around it (Roman perhaps?). The bottom is flat and smooth. I can't notice any markings on it. I'm also not sure what type of material it's made of. Any idea what it may be?

It looks like some type of resin. I can’t tell what the figures are - but the whole thing reminds me pieces I see in Mexico

can be used as an incense burner

My Guess 1990's Or Newer made for Collectors Of Medieval Decorations,
Like Dragon Statues, Knights, Etc

I don't think it would make a Great ashtray Simply because it has no Lips for a Cigarette to Fit in
on the Edges. the cigarette could roll too easy. But looks shallow enough for an Incense Cone to set in If you Wanted to.
But Mainly Decorative.

I agree it appears to be resin.

& Extremely Cool :coffee2:

I'm thinking 'trinket box' missing the lid. Maybe a souvenir from a trip to Rome? Trajan's Column? :dontknow:
