Trying to get bags

Went in to a 5/3 today near work, made a deposit then asked if I could buy the bag off the machine, they said that it was already picked through and I'd never find anything, all half dollars are gone through by the customers and no one finds anything anymore. Basically saying it is a waste of time to go through any change looking for older coins. .... So I went out to the car and lugged in $1k in halves to dump. The bag they changed out didn't look to have silver, but would have liked to go through it. Guess I'll continue to dump there.

Sounds like my area. Tellers have come right and tell me they look through the coins and pull out the silver as well as tell me most of halves that are dropped there are all from people like me - looking for silver. I have a lot of people CRH in my area based on what tellers share with me. Most banks I order from also have a few others who pick up multiple boxes each week. I would never buy a bag in my area.
