Our club (Sacramento Valley Detecting Buffs, California) has a volunteer staff
the serves local law enforcement agencies and local citizens to find lost
items. ( http://www.sacramentovalleydetectingbuffs.com/about/recovery.htm)

Today two members of the team responded to a request from a fellow
who lost his wedding ring. He was in a dog park, got dog slobber all over
his fingers, and in shaking it off, the ring went flying.

Took all of 2 minutes to find it in the grass.

Good job, UncleVinnys. Folks like you shed a positive beacon on our hobby. (shaking off dog slobber...NASTY.) Reminds me of the movie Turner and Hooch. That dog was gross!
