Thats the way to re invest!! Its what I do with all my gold and silver finds... turn them into gold coin!!

Nice! I traded mine in for my Deus (along with plenty of gold jewelry and other finds). Now that I don't think I'll be upgrading my detector again, all my clad is going into PM's.

Much shinier that clad!
Nick

Great idea, nice coins! Can't wait to see them! I really want a gold coin minted in Charlotte, that might be a pretty penny though...

Awesome! Cashed mine in and got a an Excalibur II, so far about 25 outings and 27.4 grams of gold :)
I love this hobby!!!

cashed mine in for some macdonalds, all my clad kept me fed and hydrated all summer, almost wish ida kept it just so i could total it up. Unfortunately no keepers, hard to believe, only been mding for about 4 months I hope next year will be a different story. Happy hunting to all and may your holiday be joyful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are beauties ! Smart way to invest that dirty clad !

Good investment.

I think I got a good deal on them. The $2.50 coin was only $247 and looks to be XF to AU. The $1 coin was $150 and is F-VF. I can't find any on Ebay even close to the price I paid.

:icon_scratch:Well gentilman, I havn't done anything like what you all have done yet but, JimDon has done exactly what I've been thinking about doing with all of my finds. Maybe :dontknow:I'll start figuring it all out this up coming new year(2013).

One bit of advice. In NC they charged me sales tax! Apparently if you buy online you can get away without paying tax. Buyer beware though.

I love this post. Gold from clad, can't do better than that!
