This piece was found near Swiss MO over 30 years ago. On a walk in what once was an old pasture, with my first real girlfriend, I looked down and saw this laying on the ground. Just laying there, flat, like someone just dropped it there. I was down on my hands and knees for so long I thought Carol was going to dump me right then and there. It was so exciting that I can remember it like it was yesterday.

Oh good I am first, lol. It looks like a nice point and out of the ordinary. Just the kind I like.

Im sorry for this very late reply. Looking through posts I found it and was surprised I didn't ask the question, does anyone have a guess on what period it's from? Thank you!

It looks like an Adena "Wells" to me middle archaic about 3500 to 3000 years before present in your area
