One of my customers wasn't home today so I rescheduled her and went fishing. Well I got to the park I wanted to go to and opened the rear doors on my truck and oops, my fishing pole's in my car at home 8 miles away. Of course the lady called at this time but my addiction needed feeding.
So off I went, I drove home to get the pole and the plans changed so my buddy and I went another 17 miles in the other direction to a soccer complex.
When we got there nobody was there. Slowly but surely they showed up. Soccer players everywhere.
Our options of where to hunt was limited because of all the people. But there was one vacant soccer field so over we went. I could see a path of bent blades of grass from people walking so I checked it slowly. Within 5 minute of doing that I ran across what I assumed was a nickel. With my machine I never find gold exactly at a nickel nor does it register pull tabs at exactly a nickel. Until today of course. Out pops this large mans 14k ring. I quickly looked a the stone with my loupe and could see some scratches in it. Nope not a diamond.
My buddy went home at that time and I said I'll stay to find another. I always say that. Well today I did!
A womans 14k ring with a small diamond which registered way down there like foil. A nickel is 456 and this was at 335.
I love it when I find something nice when I was supposed to be working. =)
